Overview of Product Ranges
Originally, the word CODA stood for 'Cartesian Optoelectronic Dynamic Anthropometer', a technical description of our early measurement units (the forerunners of the product line that is represented today by the cx1). Soon, our measurement system established itself so firmly as the instrument of choice among researchers and clincians that everybody referred to our measurement sensors by the shortened name - CODA - and our company became known as Codamotion.
Today, Codamotion’s products combine rapid manufacturing techniques and leading-edge battery technology with developments in optics, electronics, video and software to push the limits of measurement ever further. We call what we do ‘Real-Time Excellence’.
Fundamentally our product ranges split into two:
- 3D Movement Analysis - The CODA system based on the cx1 Unit
- 2D Movement Analysis - The Video Vector System
