Premier real-time movement analysis solutions

Using The System Overview

At Codamotion, we work hard to live up to our mission: "See More, See Better, See Now." Fast, easy set-up and accurate, comprehensive presentation of results are built into our philosophy.

Just follow the 4 Steps for Successful Measurement and you can have a 3D movement analysis system up and running in just a few minutes:

Setup

1. CARRY TO SITE, PLUG IN AND TURN ON

The Codamotion system comes pre-calibrated from the factory, so you do not have to be concerned with on-site calibration.  Its lightweight and portable - a lone user can carry it to a new location. How portable? See our brief portability movie.

The system can be set up and running within minutes – simply plug it in and turn it on. How easy is set up? View our brief set up movie. If, for example, your system is set up for lower-limb or whole-body gait analysis, it can just as quickly be reconfigured with a different 3D volume for some upper-limb studies.  The system is now ready to take measurements.

2. PLACE MARKERS

Place markers on the subject according to the clinical protocol of your choice.  See our brief movie on placing markers.

Thanks to Codamotion Active marker technology you will see the markers displayed on the screen in real-time.  You can define your own marker protocol setups or use the pre-configured protocols provided for you.  Codamotion provides range of software to cater for different protocols and analyses.  You are now ready to record the measurements.

3. RECORD

Use one click of the mouse to begin recording movement data as your patient moves in front of the system.  Alternatively use Codamotion’s Auto-Start feature which will automatically begin capture when the subject enters the measurement space. (See the recording and analytical functions of the system in our brief Analysis and Representation movie.)

4. GET THE RESULTS

Active markers mean automatically identified trajectories.  You will see the measurement data and derived variables such as joint angles, moments and powers, within seconds of the movement taking place. See the analytical and presentation functions of the system in our brief Analysis and Representation movie.)

To analyse and interpret the results, Codamotion provides a suite of graphical tools and report-generation software. In addition, data can be saved in the open, industry-standard C3D file format or ASCII text, and read into third-party applications without modification or pre-processing.

It's the simplest, quickest, most accurate system on the market.

But don't just take our word for it. At Codamotion, we have long recognised that there’s no recommendation better than the one that comes from someone already using our products in a similar environment and application. In recent years, our systems have been used in a wide variety of fields.
